Give your bird a boost with our freeze-dried sprouted seed blend — a crunchy snack designed to support digestion, enrichment, and overall wellness. I start with a curated mix of high-quality seeds, soak and sprout them to unlock their natural nutrients, then gently freeze-dry the batch to preserve freshness and crunch without any additives or preservatives. Bag sizes will contain 1.5oz or 5oz of sprouted seeds your choice!
🦜 Perfect for parrots of all sizes — from cockatiels to macaws 🥄 Easy to serve — feed dry as a treat, or mix into chop
🧠 Encourages foraging and mental stimulation 🌾 Sprouting helps reduce phytic acid and increases bioavailability of nutrients Your bird gets the nutrition of fresh sprouts with the convenience and shelf-stability of freeze-dried — the best of both worlds!
🌱 What’s Actually in Our Sprouted Seed Mix? 🌱 If you’ve ever looked at pet treats and thought “what even is this?” — I hear you. That’s why I want to show you exactly what goes into my sprouted seed blend I start with a mix of whole, bird-safe ingredients — each one chosen for a reason:
✅ Hulless oats – gentle on digestion and rich in fiber
✅ Buckwheat groats, wheat, rye, spelt, and kamut – ancient grains with a balance of energy and protein
✅ Quinoa, millet, sesame, and amaranth – tiny seeds, packed with amino acids and trace minerals
✅ Lentils (green, crimson, French blue, black) – full of plant-based protein to support muscle and feather growth
✅ Chickpeas, yellow peas, Oregon giant peas, and green peas – satisfying and rich in vitamins like folate and B6
✅ Fenugreek seeds – may aid digestion and support feather health
Every batch is soaked, rinsed, sprouted by hand, and freeze-dried at just the right stage — no shortcuts. Sprouting unlocks nutrients, reduces phytic acid (an anti-nutrient), and makes this mix easier to digest. Plus, the crunch? Parrots love it! I don’t just guess. I send every product for a Guaranteed Analysis at a certified lab. Here’s what came back from NJFL:
✔️ 17.74% protein – great for feather production and growth
✔️ 3.97%fat – a healthy energy source without being greasy
✔️ 3.52% fiber – to support a happy, functioning digestive system
✔️ 4.00% moisture – after sprouting and freeze-drying
🧪 I also test for aflatoxins — toxic compounds produced by mold that can contaminate grains and legumes. These toxins are extremely dangerous to birds even in small amounts. Our most recent report came back at less than 5 parts per billion — well below any concerning threshold. This gives you peace of mind that your flock is getting something truly safe.
If you’re looking for a cleaner, more natural treat option that still supports their health — this is it.
